Toronto Agency for Players Transfer (TAPT) was founded in 2022 by Dr. Mohamed Helal, a seasoned professional with over 30 years of experience in sports management.
Dr. Helal’s journey in football began at the grassroots level. He progressed through the youth ranks until the age of 20, playing for several Egyptian teams. Unfortunately, a chronic injury and family circumstances led to an early retirement from professional play.
Undeterred, Dr. Helal transitioned into scouting in 1998, identifying and recommending talented players to clubs across Egypt. His dedication saw him traveling extensively throughout the country to discover and support promising young athletes.
For nearly a decade, Dr. Helal worked in the Middle East as a contract manager, while continuing his work in scouting and performance analysis—gaining valuable experience in player evaluation and negotiations.
A pivotal moment came in 2010, when Dr. Helal immigrated to Canada. There, he joined a leading North American pharmaceutical company as a project manager, while also pursuing his passion in sports. He studied various courses in scouting and coaching, and worked with several clubs including Erin Mills Soccer Club and Milton Magic Soccer Club.
Throughout this time, Dr. Helal built lasting relationships with athletes, coaches, and technical directors—laying the foundation for TAPT’s network.
In 2023, Dr. Helal was officially granted a FIFA Agent License in Toronto, Canada. His unique blend of experience in contract management, scouting, performance analysis, and coaching gives TAPT the strategic edge in identifying top-tier talent and securing the best outcomes for clients.
